Project Proposal

INTRODUCTION   

The Taylor Family Trust for Grenada (TFTG) is committed to assist community associations and other groups in Grenada on projects that advance the mission and goals of the Trust as outlined below.

Successful applicants must sign an agreement with TFTG to utilize funds for the stated purpose and to allow the use of their name in public relations events where appropriate. Applicants must also be prepared to submit supplier quotes that support the funding request, and copies of all relevant invoices.

To qualify for funding consideration, a project must advance a minimum of one (1)
objective and two (2) of the TFTG goals.

The Taylor Family Trust for Grenada aims to improve the quality of life among the Grenadian Community. We support programmes, organisations and citizens, through charitable contribution in areas empowering youth, education, individual growth, and the values of life skills and self-sustainment.

1.    To support programmes with measurable, qualitative and quantitative results.
2.    To focus on the development and education of Grenada’s younger population creating a self
       perpetuating development cycle for the greater good of Grenada.
3.    To break the most critical causes of poverty and associated abuses and to provide individuals with the
       opportunity to contribute and flourish in an ascendant Grenada.
4.    To promote cultural change, including reinvigorating the historic Grenadian work ethic, and helping the
       island’s people to play a leading role in Grenada’s future.

1.    To promote attitudinal, structural, and cultural processes whereby young people gain the ability, authority,
       and agency to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and the lives of other people.
2.    To assist in enhancing the facilities in institutions which care for children in need.
3.    To promote the advancement of education among citizens of Grenada.
4.    To assist in the alleviation of poverty.
5.    To provide support in caring for the elderly and infirm.
6.    To assist in providing other social services in Grenada.
7.    To increase the standard of living of the inhabitants of the parish of St. Patrick in Grenada and Grenadians
       altogether based on a non-partisan policy.
8.    To provide other relevant support and assistance consistent with our charitable purpose.
