The Bed Programme

Grenada has an acute shortage of beds for those trapped in the poverty cycle, particularly children in homes and orphanages.

The Trust through its extensive connections in the UK managed to source 453 new mattresses from a university supplier and also procured metal bed frames to go with the mattresses from the charity Blindcraft.

In collaboration with the Grenada Government, the Trust distributed the complete beds to needy homes and schools around the island, which provided much needed relief around the island to poverty-stricken people who lack the basic things in life which others take for granted.
