Sonya Beatson
Trustee

Born in St. Lucia, Sonya Beatson spent most of her youth in Belize, Guyana, the U.K. and Switzerland. Whilst raising her family, she spent
the next 28 years volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul, Sisters of Charity and the Hospice movement in Italy, France and England. She has now retired to Grenada with her husband and continues her charitable work with the Missionaries of Charity visiting families, the Richmond Home and in the Soup Kitchen. With a team of friends she organizes an annual fundraising plant sale and tea party for local children and senior homes at her home, where she grows the thousands of plants. Of course this is no hardship for her as gardening is one of her many loves.
