Approximately 70% of reported AIDS cases and related deaths were among people aged 15-44.

Abuse

Physical and sexual abuse cases are not commonly reported in Grenada. The highest count of physical abuse is four females from the month of January 2008.

Total amount of persons abused for 2008, 13 females and 8 males.

The parish of St. Andrew’s has the highest count of physical abuse cases for 2008, 5 females and four males.

The second highest count of physical abuse on the island is in the parish of St. Patrick’s (4 females).

24 physical abuse cases were reported in 2008.

A total of 69 sexual abuse cases were reported in 2008.
