Earleen Taylor
Chairman of the board of trustees
Born in Reading, Berkshire, England to Grenadian parents, Earleen is
the eldest of four daughters.
Earleen is a second generation Grenadian, living and working in
England, married to Paul Taylor residing in Surrey with their three
children. They also have homes in Portugal and Grenada. Earleen spends much of her time supporting charitable
organisations including primary sponsorship for Save the Children.
Other charities Earleen is involved with include Sickle Cell Society.
CLIC Sargent - Caring for Children with Cancer and Inspiring Futures.
Earleen has a number of business interests. She is a majority
shareholder and non-executive Chairman in Levera Resort Development
Limited, a development project comprising plans for a luxury eco
friendly boutique and villa resort set in 400 acres in the north of
Grenada. Earleen is also majority shareholder and Non-Executive
Director of Be Collective, a very high end branded interior design
house. She also founded and owns her own record label No Prisoners
Limited.
A former beauty queen and winner of both Miss Grenada and Miss
Caribbean titles, Earleen’s early career comprised of seventeen years
at British Airways, culminating in her appointment as the first black
Cabin Services Director on Concorde. Earleen resigned her position
when Concorde was finally grounded in 2001.
She is a keen tennis player, and indulges this passion whenever she can.
